Wow this year is just flying by! We can’t believe it’s Easter time already. Our practice will be closed for the long weekend and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd April.
We too are looking forward to eating lots of chocolates this Easter. Just a reminder that when you eat sugary food, bacteria (plaque) use that sugar to produce acids that attack your enamel. To prevent damage to your teeth this Easter, we recommend removing plaque regularly by brushing twice a day and to also limit the number of times a day that sugar is on your teeth. Meaning that it is best to indulge in one sitting followed by a glass of water, instead of continually snacking throughout the day. Make sure you wait at least 30 minutes after eating before you brush.
We have held time in our schedule in case you do run into trouble with your teeth over the long weekend. Some of these times are available to be booked online, so you can schedule an appointment by clicking here. If online booking is not for you, please call us early on Tuesday morning so we can make sure you are seen as a priority.
We hope you all have a fun and safe weekend.
